Cheap Htc Extended Battery Deals

Product came with very cheap back cover and had previously been open that did not fit properly on the phone. Basically, I wouldn't buy this brand again.

Here is my unbiased review of Anker Astro 2 8400mAh external battery pack:Charge Efficiency: Its rated at 8,400mAh as it's capacity. The lithium ion battery may have that capacity but it's ability to charge other devices isn't so hot. I understand the Anker power bank needs power of its own to operate and conversion from 3.7v to 5.0v takes energy. I wasn't expecting 100% of 8,400mAh to fully charge into other devices totaling up to 8,400mAh. But I was expecting it to be efficient. I did 5 charge and discharge cycles (though it may not be necessary on lithium batteries but I did it anyways to calibrate it) then I went on with my test to see how much it can charge my Kindle Fire, HTC Evo 3d, HTC Evo, Kindle reader, and portable speaker. Yes, the devices I were charging were completely off to preserve energy for charging only instead of also powering it on. The first charge cycle it totaled 5,425mAh (64% efficiency), 2nd is 6,032mAh (71.81% ), and 3rd is 5,280mAh (62.85%). This means ~28% - ~37% of its 8400mAH capacity is unusable. I predicted at least ~20% of 8,400mAh is powering itself which is 1,680mAh and perhaps some energy is loss through heat. I concluded that the circuitry work on it is not as good and/or the lithium ion battery isn't of "higher" grade technology (ie. Panasonic & Sanyo 18650). It fell somewhat below my expectations regarding its most important function. However, I do have an Incredicharge I-11000 with 11000mAh capacity and it is about 65-70%…

I was happy with this battery for several months, but then noticed my Evo rebooting only when this battery was in use. Upon inspection, I found the top part of the battery has shrunk. Correlated to that, that is when my phone just started rebooting only when this battery was in use. I used some paper and other tricks to keep the battery firmly, but these problems did not change. Sp while it worked at first, the medium term performance and presumably quality of the battery is lacking. I bought anoth HTC official battery and all problems have gone away. This is the first product I have bought from amazon that did not hold up to reviews I have read.

I really love the extended battery life on this thing. My G2 is my only phone, but I also use if for various apps, and I also travel a lot. Battery life has been a challenge the whole time I have owned it. It is especially an issue when traveling to areas that don't have great (T-Mobile) coverage, so the phone spends a bunch of time searching for networks and switching back and forth. I don't have so many problems with that anymore.However, for those of you who don't know what you are getting into this thing is really, really ugly. It's a big giant lump on the back of your phone that adds about 60-70% to the total thickness of the phone. It adds a bit of weight too, but the real bummer is that no accessory is ever going to fit. It's not like there were a lot of cases that fit the G2 anyway, but it's also not going to clip into a visor, or a dash mount, or a belt clip, or anything else that expects something with a wider, flatter back.So, if you need to maximize your battery life, you are okay with having a far uglier smartphone than any of your friends, and you don't have any accessories that need to fit your phone, you can't go wrong with this product. I'm giving it five stars because that is exactly the position I am in.

I bought this battery about 3 weeks ago. I followed the advice given by Seidio, ie.. charge for more than 8 hrs, drain it out and charge 5 times. In the two weeks since I did this charge and drain routine, in my normal use patterns it has lasted way longer than the OEM battery shipped with the EVO. With the OEM, I would always have to charge at lunch and on the way home from work to make it thru a normal business day. With the Seidio, I can skip charging at lunch and on the way home and still have 20% battery left at end of the day!!

Pros: Excellent battery lifeCons: Faulty backdoor cover = loss of 4G network.I've had this product for about a week now and I still can't stop gawking at how awesome the battery life is. I'm a fairly heavy user with emails, web browsing, and netflix to fill in the less stellar moments of my day and I only have to worry about charging at the end of my night. Needless to say, I'm very pleased.The battery however, does add bulk and heftiness to your phone. Personally, I don't like it all too much since I have the habit of stuffing my phone into my pocket but I'm willing to compromise.Now comes the part of the product which annoys me: the backdoor cover. Sure, it has the prongs for the cellular antennas for 4G, however I find that I still lose precious 4G coverage ... always. Even with 3G, it's not a guarantee that I have a steady hold on the network. My bars fluctuate frequently and call clarity just hasn't been the same. I've never experienced any of these problems with the stock battery door.From the mixed reviews of others who have purchased this product, it seems like a luck of the draw if you were given a truly compatible back door vs. a faulty one.

I love this phone but I have spent the last few weeks managing the battery.. Reading the tips and tricks on how to conserve battery instead of finding ways to utilize this amazing phone to its full abilities. I was disabling the very features I bought this phone for. I had a charging station to plug this phone in all day long at my desk, in my car, 2 locations in my house and still there where times while sitting outside I would hesitate to take a picture as I was getting battery warnings after a few hours of "normal use" for me.I have had the new Ext Battery for a few days and it is amazing. I watched 3-4 innings of A Twins game on my Sling box and the battery lost 10% that would have drained 50% of my old phone and I actually would not have attempted this without being plugged in.This is exactly what I wanted.. I am turning all those features on that I disabled and after 8 hours it is still at 75%.. The first tip I would tell anyone that has an HTC EVO is buy this battery and forget the other 19 tips..

Great product. It shipped promptly and installed easily. When I first put it in, I powered it up and let it charge to 100%. Then I attempted to run it down to empty, so I could reset my battery stats yesterday. This proved harder than expected, as this thing is a beast. I used my rooted Rezound (ICS CleanROM)all day long yesterday, and its still running this morning without having charged it during the night. Although early, this is very promising.

I've had this battery for about three weeks now and feel comfortable enough with its performance to write a review. Since each person uses their phone differently, it must be understood that individual results will vary. That being said, this review only compares the performance of this Seidio battery the performance of the OEM battery.On any given day with the OEM battery: I never use an active background, seldom use the 4G antenna, never use the WiFi or Bluetooth antennas, GPS antenna on all the time, place or receive 20 to 30 calls, listen to 3 or 4 hours of audiobooks, play various games for about an hour (in aggregate), sporadic internet usage (about 30 minutes in aggregate), use Google Navigation for about 15 to 20 minutes, and have about 10 apps or widgets running that use background data. Ive had this for over a week now. It does not last any longer then stock if anything it lasts less. Save your money and buy the fat extended battery. trust me stay away! I have to resell this on ebay now.

I received this extended battery in the mail yesterday and was very excited about using it until I noticed that the replacement case does not align with the on/off switchon the top of the phone. I tried pressing down on the switch but the case is designed in such a way that it is impossible to reach the switch and makes it impossibleto turn the phone on or off. This is a horrible flaw in the design of the case - the battery itself seems to be working great but I will be returning the battery since I can'tturn my phone on or off.If anyone has a solution to this, please let me know since I desperately need an extended battery for my evo 3d! the current battery only lasts me 4 hours a day!

I can get through an entire day of moderate to heavy use of my Incredible 2 and still have power to spare! Use the factory installed for a backup. I couldn't be happier!

While this battery does last a considerable longer time, I have to give an over all rating of just one beacuse the battery cover will not stay on the phone and the battery keeps falling out. They have sent me replacement covers, but still the same problem with my T-Mobile MyTouch, it simple will not stay on the phone which pretty much makes the battery worthless. Unless they can create a cover that actually works this is a pretty worthless battery upgrade, unless you want to use some duct-tape to keep it all together.
